The casino wasn't busy, even on Saturday night, which is a nice change from the craziness of the strip.Well, it still looks fairly even. Drink service at the casino was fast and friendly. We did some shopping in the Wynn stores and received excellent customer service. The staff at the bar were great, so no issues there. She didn't come back to our loungers for the rest of the afternoon, so we ended up getting the rest of our drinks at the bar. The food ended up taking less than 30 minutes. We also ordered cocktails and water but didn't bring the water even though we asked for it twice. We were hungry but didn't want to leave the pool for lunch so we said yes. She sighed and said it'll take 90-120 minutes and do we want to still want to order. It was around 1 pm so we ordered some food. The other issue was the service we received from our server. We found something eventually but had to walk around a few times. It would have been nice to receive some assistance from the pool staff like you do at other 5* resorts. The first day we went to the pool we had trouble finding somewhere to sit. The only downside was the pool, and that wasn't really even a big deal. The music around the pool is always great. We only spent time at the adults-only pool, which is both relaxing and fun. The only downside is food service stopped pretty early, so we were starving by the time we got to Casa Playa for our 10:30 pm reservation. Over the years, we have eaten/drank at almost all of the Wynn/Encore restaurants and bars and on this trip, we went to Wing Lei, Casa Playa, Jardin (twice), Lobby Bar (twice), Eastside Lounge, Overlook Lounge (three times) and ordered room service. I spent around 3 hours there and could have stayed all day. Not only is the entire place stunning, the staff were friendly, attentive, professional and welcoming. The spa was one of the highlights of the trip for me. We asked to be on the side away from XS/EBC and had a view of the golf course and Resorts World. The stay was everything you would expect from a Wynn resort. We typically stay at the Wynn, so this was only our second stay at the Encore.
